Sea of Thieves' Bronzebeard is a codename for a certain error for players.

For players looking to fix the Sea of Thieves' "Bronzebeard" error, there are a few simple things they can try to resolve the issue, but it does depend largely on the cooperation of Microsoft's servers.

Basically, a Bronzebeard error is when the servers are unable to connect players to the game, for whatever reason. This can be mildly frustrating for players looking to weigh anchor and set sail in Rare's 2018 seafaring exploration title. 

Sea of Thieves Bronzebeard: How to Fix This Error

The Bronzebeard error is similar to the Cinnamonbeard error and can be solved with similar steps.

The easiest thing players can do is simply exit the game. On Xbox One, this can be done by opening the Xbox One Guide using the controller and highlighting Sea of Thieves to quit. On PC, players will have to log out and close the application entirely. Afterward, relaunching the application may solve the issue.

Sometimes, this may not work. In these cases, it can be worth trying a complete system reboot, either by turning off the Xbox One or PC and then booting it back up. This completely resets connection to Microsoft servers, which can serve as a workaround. Similarly, rebooting the router used for online connection can help. 

For players who more recently had issues with the BronzeBeard error, simply retrying the game may solve any lingering problems.
